Manuscript Slack App

The easiest way to sign up is in your Manuscript site!

Go to the Avatar menu > Integrations, and click the Slack tile. If you're using Manuscript On Premises, use the form below!

What does this app do?

Listens to all your Slack chatter, and interjects with case details when it hears you talking about Manuscript cases. Includes:

Automatic linking to cases mentioned in messages
Unfurling of links to cases, with links to case actions

command to create and append to cases

How does it work?

Monitors the conversations in public channels, looking for Manuscript URLs and the "case ###" string. A Manuscript URL will be unfurled with additional information, and "case ###" will interject an unfurled link with case details.

The

/case

command has three different uses:

shows information for Case 123
```
/case 123 data
```
creates a new edit on Case 123 with the content "data"

/case data
```
creates a new Manuscript case with the content "data"
